ADAPTING is preparing for several public benefit community activities. These activities range and vary with specific community needs. They are as follows:

Projected 2006:

School expansion project: Adapting is expanding its facilities. We are in the planning stages to build two new classrooms, a conference room, a physical therapy room, along with other necessities to operate our public benefit program.

DID YOU KNOW THAT DIABETES IS A MAJOR CAUSE FOR AMPUTATION OF LIMBS?

Remember, that if family members have had diabetes you are at high risk of becomming diabetic. Be informed! Protect yourself.... only YOU can do it.

For more information about diabetes, its sypmtoms, care and avoiding health problems through proper care please click here!

Free physical therapy:

Adapting is in the planning stages of putting together a program to help under-insured and non-insured individuals requiring physical therapy. The concept behind this is to prevent unnecessary damaged to the patient during the transition stage to when he or she gains insurance. Please call for details.

Amputees in Oregon: This program is directed at amputees and their families and will update disadvantaged people as to new options for prosthetic and orthotic equipment for the purpose of enhancing their lives while t the same time allowing greater fulfillment and for many reintegration into society.

Obesity in Children: This research project will be launched by Adapting. It is designed to identify helpful solutions and methods to eliminate diabetes in occurring in obese children.

Diabetes if undetected will eventually lead to blindness and or amputation of limbs, kidney failure and premature death. Today diabetes is occurring in youth in epidemic proportions and needs to be effectively addressed. Successful correction programs need to be identified and implemented to overcome this disastrous problem.

All of the above programs require your support to be successful. You can be proud to help and serve on our committees as well as donate to the various projects.

Kids in Crisis: ADAPTING will join in a worldwide effort with other worldwide organizations to help eliminate the trafficking of children for reasons of prostitution, slavery, pornography, sacrifice and other abuses directed against children.

This activities occur here in the United States as well as abroad. Our overseas activities are targeted for Cameroon, Africa where we will joint venture with others to build vocational schools with public libraries and offer other services to enhance the lives of these devastated children.
